I checked my e-mail and found something by roman (Cppshq owner)

Partnership ended due to hosting problems.

That means he won't be allowing me to look at his blog and write down stuff like that, i need a new partnership!

Atlantic Penguin-on it's last leg

Here’s a large chain of events which lead up to Atlantic Penguin being hacked by PHPDevs, and the current status on Atlantic Penguin. This is going to be a little long, but it tells the whole story.

Flappi282 (or ZKid) originally co-created OpenCP, and released it to everyone. OpenCP is a source code for private servers. Several months later, Flappi released that he could be held legally liable for all OpenCP servers, since he is the one who made the code, so he went out on an anti-private server spree; making up fake rumors about him getting arrested to scare owners into shutting down their servers.

That was not proving that effective, so he just recently created an OpenCP exploit .swf file which you can simply put in the server’s IP address and port, and then you can login to any account. Flappi did this as an attempt to have users login to moderator’s accounts and cause chaos, ultimately ending all OpenCP servers.

This is where PHPDevs come in. Flappi then gave the exploit to a PHPDev member, who then gave it to the entire group. Atlantic Penguin was running on OpenCP, so they then used the exploit to log into moderator’s accounts. Once they were in moderator accounts, they went on mass banning sprees and showing pornography using the !swf command.

The destruction that they did to Atlantic Penguin will be quite difficult to reverse. They could not have done it at a worse time – because CheekyJay (Atlantic Penguin owner) is on vacation, and has limited internet activity to reverse what they have done.

Atlantic Penguin is now on it’s “last leg” and it would be very possible for the owners to just give him and close it.

CheekyJay was quoted on Skype saying this:

New Cpps~ MegaPenguin

I found this cpps the one of a kind! I walked through history! I was at the penguin awards in the pizza parlor Then i was in the 3rd year party at the town then i was in the music jam in the coffee shop! I felt amazed from the sights i saw! And i saw some special made rooms! Heres a few pictures:

Penguin medieval updates

The beta sign up for Penguin Medieval has finished, they had a over whelming response of beta sign ups, the original amount of people who would be selected to test was 25 but they have increased this to 50.

Those who have been selected will be emailed in around a week or so. The email will include how to login and what restrictions apply, and how to provide feedback, not just that but they get the beta hat which is extra rare since only medieval items will be on the server.

Their wont be that much customization but I can guarantee their will be a cool custom site, great support features, and fantastic staged events.  You can also see whats going on daily on the log located on the PM forums.

"Hippos" hacking

Many of you may know CheekyJay, he is the owner of the popular private server Atlantic Penguin. Well, there’s some not-so-good news reguarding him.

CheekyJay was the main conspirator in a “hacking” group named  “The Hippos“. CheekyJay was the person who wanted to start the group, and had the group organized.

One of many of CheekyJay’s acts during The Hippos was he sent around a download link that he claimed was “Atlantic Penguin source”, when the user would open the file a remote access trojan (or RAT) would be installed on their computer. This RAT would give CheekyJay complete access to your computer. and also install a keylogger on your computer, which would allow him to see every password you put in your computer from then on.

The terrible thing about what he was doing is that he was just targeting innocent people. They were messing with people – who didn’t do anything to them. He was terrorizing people who did nothing to him – for fun. What he was doing was an invasion of privacy, and in America you can be brought to court for hacking into computers.

Through the keylogger installed on his victom’s computers, CheekyJay would then be able to see every single password to sites that they logged into, so then he would log into his victom’s forums, blogs, and emails and sabotage them. Some examples of where CheekyJay & his accomplices sabotaged websites can be found here and here. he told me this

CheekyJay wasn’t the only person who was a “Hippo”, as you can see above Andrew,(from Atlantic Penguin) Timmyboi, Jedu, iRocky, Drake, and Chai were all Hippos at one point.

It’s just disgusting how someone who is responsible for thousands of accounts on his own private server, could then illegal hack into innocent people’s computer who had done NOTHING wrong to him.

CheekyJay has been removed as an author from CPPSHQ because of his actions in “The Hippos”.

Hello, I have a Little Proof that CheekyJay is a hacker, He made a fake CPPS called PengTip which steals your information, Link: http://pengtip.cz.cc/ It seems when you click ‘Play’ it automatically downloads an RAT. Luckily I didn’t register as I was suspicious, My Norton Blocked it and said it was an Info Stealer! Thank You Norton 360!

You see, The Hippo‘s (Cheeky Jay & TimmyBoi) hacked out chat, and said they would take down our server when we release it.

I put A LOT of effort into those custom rooms. I worked on them for a long time.

My plan was to become friends with these noobs, and try and convince them to stop hacking us, but – Of course, it didn’t work.

I’d like to inform you, that CPPSX1 was not even close, faked by paintboy93
